The Community Mental Health Clinic, Inc. (CMHC) is a private, non-profit outpatient community mental health treatment facility founded in 1966. The CMHC is affiliated to Carlos Albizu University (CAU), a professional school of psychology.

The Community Mental Health Clinic, Inc. has served the needs of low income and minority clients in a broad spectrum of clinical areas. The site provides culturally sensitive services to the greater San Juan community and adjacent municipalities.

Practicum and Internship Information
In its affiliation with CAU, the Community Mental Health Clinic, Inc. serves both as a Practicum site for master and doctoral level students, as well as an internship program.

Carlos Albizu University (CAU) is a private, nonprofit, specialized university-level institution offering an upper division bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences with concentrations in psychology and speech and language therapy, masters and doctoral degrees in industrial/organizational psychology and doctoral degrees in general psychology, clinical psychology, and other related fields.
